The Adirondack Frontier not only displays some of the best fall foliage – anywhere – it is also ready for the casual explorer. Driving Route 86 delivers the goods, especially the 16-mile stretch of road from Saranac Lake to Paul Smiths, right from your car window.

Fall is prime season for outdoor activities! Immerse yourself in the St Regis Canoe Area – over 18,000 acres of the only designated Canoe Area in New York State. Head out on a hike up St. Regis Mountain for 360 degree breathtaking views. Take off on on your bike for a scenic cruise. Adventure into the wilderness to cast a line for brook trout.

Fall foliage takes on a whole new depth when viewed in the Adirondack Frontier. Consider it your own personal color show. We are sure you will find quiet and beauty at every turn!
