Adirondack Frontier Small Business: Technical Assistance

Empowering Small Businesses Through Technical Assistance!

We are deeply committed to supporting the small businesses that form the backbone of our local economy. With over 1,350 small businesses driving the Adirondack Frontier, our mission is to help these businesses thrive. One of the ways we do this is through our technical assistance program, which provides both aspiring entrepreneurs and established businesses with the resources they need to succeed.

Why Technical Assistance Matters

Our technical assistance program is designed to be a lifeline for businesses at every stage of development. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to expand, we connect you with the critical information, expert advice, and strategic partnerships that can make all the difference. By leveraging our extensive network of resource providers and our deep knowledge of local opportunities, we empower businesses to overcome obstacles and achieve lasting success.

Spotlight: Little Town Lanes

We’re excited to share the story of one such business that has benefited from our technical assistance services—Little Town Lanes. Located in Moira, Little Town Lanes has become more than just a place to bowl; it’s a vibrant community hub offering bowling leagues, party spaces, golf simulators, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes it the perfect “third place” for residents.

When Jeremiah & Chelsi Bonville decided to buy the iconic Crossroads Inn property on Route 11 in Moira, they had the knowledge, passion, and determination to be successful business owners. But like many entrepreneurs transitioning to new ownership, it wasn’t without its challenges. That’s where our technical assistance came in.

We worked closely with them, providing them with the guidance and resources needed to navigate the complexities of purchasing and managing an existing business in a small-town setting. From business planning to connecting with key community partners, our support helped Little Town Lanes evolve into the beloved local gathering place it is today.

We invite you to watch our video highlighting Little Town Lanes and see firsthand the impact that a little help can have on a small business!
