Discuss Downtown Revitalization
February 16, 2023 | 5:00-7:00 pm
Malone, NY — The Village of Malone and the Franklin County Economic Development Corp (FCEDC) will be meeting on Thursday, February 16th from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the Franklin County Courthouse, 355 West Main Street, 1st floor kitchen conference room, to give residents, property owners, and business owners in Malone an opportunity to learn more about the Draft Downtown Malone Strategic Plan and provide input about the proposed priority projects.
The Downtown Strategic Plan is a detailed plan for executing projects that will achieve Malone’s downtown revitalization goals. This is the third and final public meeting for this project. Attendees will be invited to review information about 20 proposed projects and provide feedback. There will also be an opportunity for small group conversations and Q&A.
After the February 16th meeting, the public will also be able to continue to track progress of the project by visiting www.downtownmalone.com and participating in the online survey for prioritization of the projects.
This effort builds upon the Village of Malone’s extensive downtown and waterfront planning and implementation efforts. This plan was prepared for the New York State Department of State with funds provided under Title 11 of the Environmental Protection Fund.
