Strengthening Franklin County’s downtowns is a priority for us. Our downtowns are the heart and soul of our communities; they are the most financially productive places, they have the most jobs, generate the most tax revenue, and make the most efficient use of infrastructure.

We recognize that vibrant downtowns with attractive public amenities and a high quality-of-life provide a catalyst for increased economic development, re-population (particularly by young professionals), and redevelopment.
