Downtown Malone
Downtown Malone
With its historic village, Victorian architecture, and expansive Salmon River running through it, downtown Malone has a unique charm. Its northern location and early railroad connection earned Malone the nickname ‘Star of the North’.
While Titus Mountain and the Malone Golf Club bring people to the Malone area year-round, there are many amenities in downtown Malone as well. The Franklin County Fairgrounds host large-scale events, including the historic Franklin County Fair; locals and visitors can enjoy an annual free concert series at Arsenal Green; and there are many events at any of the three art galleries downtown.
Downtown Malone is experiencing a resurgence; new businesses are opening, renovations are beautifying Main Street and community events continue to grow. Most importantly, the Village of Malone, with its community partners, continues to identify and implement priority public and private projects that will contribute to revitalizing downtown Malone.
